Turmeric: The “Golden Spice” with Golden Benefits for Active Living

One thing to keep in mind is that you only get a small amount of curcumin through the root, so taking it in a supplement form is highly recommended to get a more concentrated dose. With that being said you can still enjoy the benefits of turmeric powder by adding it to meals, smoothies, or using the root for juicing.
